Our platform caters to intermediate levels and above. If you are a complete beginner, then you will be asked to come back when your skills have reached a higher level.

Each session typically lasts 60 minutes, with multiple rounds of speaking practice in pairs. You can join anytime when an event is on, and you can leave after any 1:1 conversation, even before the session’s official end time.

Each breakout room session lasts between 10-15 minutes, and starts with an introduction from both participants. The participants can then answer the discussion prompts from the lesson or converse about other matters. A question bank is also provided in each breakout room with additional prompts to keep the conversation flowing. Premium subscribers will receive AI corrections on their speaking skills, visible on their dashboard at the conclusion of the session.

In each session, you will be paired with members at a similar proficiency level as you. Your level is determined by an initial quiz, and then updated by AI speech analysis, which happens automatically in the breakout rooms. The more you participate, the more accurate your level becomes, and as you improve, you will be moved up to higher levels automatically.

Although we recommend joining on your PC or Mac, you can access the sessions on your mobile browser on iOS or Android.

Yes, all members must be 18 years or older, and in a quiet place when connecting. It is also mandatory to have your webcam on in the breakout rooms. You can see the rest of the community rules here.

There are no issues if you RSVP and you miss a session, you can review the lesson slides and notes available in your dashboard. You can also join another session at your convenience.
